Andre 3000 of Outkast recently had a sit-down with SCAD president and founder Paula Wallace to chop it up about the 20 different customized jumpsuits he created for the “i feel ya: SCAD + André 3000 Benjamin” exhibit that debuted on December 4th at the Design Miami Collector’s Breakfast. Each jumpsuit, which is designed for all 20 stops of Outkast’s upcoming tour, features a different meaningful phrase on the front across the chest area of the suit. The jumpsuits made their big debut via the “i feel ya” exhibition which were on display in Miami this past week for Art Basel at Mana Miami Wynwood from December 3rd-14th. Andre explains to Wallace that the phrases are his way of “saying something new as an artist” while performing songs he had written over the past few decades to now. If you are currently in Miami checking out the dope artwork at Art Basel– make sure you check out Andre 3000’s collaborative new artistic debut!
