You gotta strike while the iron is hot! And Iggy Azalea is on fire! The rapper teases a tour and a new album.
The Aussie rapper took over the summer with her Grammy-nominated single “Fancy” from her debut album, The New Classic, and serving up memorable verses on Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” and Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty,” Iggy made her presents known in 2014.
So where is there else for the blonde bombshell to do in 2015? A tour and new album of course! On Wednesday (Dec. 10), the MC announced that she’ll be hitting the road in 2015 for “The Great Escape Tour“. Plus her secong album.
“Its actually been an amazing last few years getting to where I’m at now and i can’t wait for 2015 and album 2 plus tour!,” she tweets. “Also my tour is called “The Great Escape Tour” and this name is somewhat relatable to what ill be naming Album2.”
Iggy also reflects on the “hardest years” for her, and takes a moment to share the lessons she’s learned during those times and her accomplishments since those years. Now that she’s made a name for herself in 2014, Iggy says “now its time to really have fun with it.”
