Detroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria has addressed his bizarre tweet from early Monday morning, and you may be surprised to hear that he is not going with the “I was hacked” excuse.
Hours after the Lions defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Fauria tweeted and deleted something about Russell Wilson stealing his girlfriend, WWE Diva Erika Hammond. On Monday afternoon, Fauria apologized for losing his cool.
And the plot thickens. Fauria could have just done what countless others have done before him — claim it wasn’t him who wrote the tweet. His apology indicates that he might have actually thought something was going on with Wilson and Hammond.
