Even if you’re benched and on the sideline, big name players have to know that cameras are on them at all times. On the other hand, videos can be manipulated and I’m not a lip reader so you’ll have to judge for yourself. On Sunday the Cleveland Browns lost to the Indianapolis Colts in a 25-24 heartbreaker. The AFC North is a tight race so every win or loss counts and the Browns are now at the bottom with a 7-6 record. There’s been talks that rookie Johnny Manziel should be the starting quarterback despite the fact that Brian Hoyer helped them even get in the playoff race. During the Browns game on Sunday it looks like Manziel believes he can do a better job too.
During the third quarter Brian Hoyer overthrew a wide open Josh Gordon on a play that could’ve been a touchdown. The cameras went to Manziel on the sideline who appears to be saying,
“I would’ve f*cking hit (that or him)”
I can’t really tell but what do you think? Is Johnny Manziel trashing Brian Hoyer?
Later on in the game in the fourth quarter when the Browns had 32 seconds to get down the field and win the game, Hoyer threw another incomplete pass to Gordon but it’s one Josh should’ve caught. Apparently the two just couldn’t connect.
