Philladelphia 76ers did it, they finally won a game! The Sixers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 85-77 on Wednesday night stopping their losing streak at 17 games. It also narrowly stopped them from breaking the 2009-10 New Jersey Nets record of the worst start to an NBA season when they went 0-18. Sixers celebrate first win with dancing and tons of congratulations, including from former Sixers legend, Allen Iverson.

“We can compete in this league,” said Michael Carter-Williams, who had 20 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. “A lot of people doubt us, and I know our record, that stands for it. But we’ve just got to keep working and keep fighting.”
Ok now I wouldn’t go that far. They got one win out of the way but the tanking will probably start again as they’ve been doing the past couple of years.
