The New York Knicks versus Brooklyn Nets matchup has lost a lot of it’s luster since both teams are currently struggling. Last night as the two teams faced off however, something happened that had everyone talking; a fan with a prosthetic leg got carried out of the game by the security!
A fan with a prosthetic leg was carried out of Tuesday night’s Knicks – Nets game in Madison Square Garden by security. It was this Nets superfan, a Brooklyn artist with a prosthetic leg who was profiled in the New York Times last month, who is known to wear bright colors to games.
There were a couple reports from MSG staffers that the Nets super fan allegedly hit or tried to hit someone with his prosthetic leg. Another witness nearby said he didn’t hit anyone, he was just being really loud.
MSG released a statement saying the fan was being unruly and they received several complaints from fans in the area. He was reportedly warned several times before he was taken out of the game. Either way it was a bizarre scene.
As for the actual game, the Nets stopped the Knicks comeback efforts and won 98-93.
