Ariana Grande and Big Sean began dating earlier this year after he broke off his engagement with GLEE actress Naya Rivera, and Ariana ended her on-again/off-again relationship with Nathan Sykes.

The pair kept it on the low for some time, sparking rumors over the summer when they were spotted out together on a date at the movies. It was seemingly confirmed weeks later at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, when they openly held hands backstage, knowing the cameras were on them.

It still took a while from that point for the pair to fully confirm what we all knew, though, playing coy in interviews and saying things like, “Me and her been friends for years before anything else,” (Sean tp MTV) and “I mean, I guess, curiosity man, it’ll kill you.” (Ariana to Ryan Seacrest.)

Finally in the past month or so, the pair confirmed the news in interviews, and have since been open about their relationship on social media.

So, how do 21-year-old Ariana Grande’s family feel about her relationship with a 26-year-old rapper? Unlike Kylie’s family’s feelings about Tyga, they’re all for it!

Ari’s mom, Joan Grande, “already treats him like her son,” a source revealed. “Joan loves Sean because she knows that Ariana is safe with him. All she really wants for Ariana is to be with someone for the right reasons and she believes that Sean truly loves her, so Joan loves him.”

How cute is that?!

“It has gotten very serious very quickly,” the source added. “Ariana feels that he is her soul partner.”
