Rihanna has never been one to cover up, and this weekend in NYC was no different! Despite the cold weather, Rih wore a thin crop-top while hitting the streets, and paparazzi-captured photos tell us one thing – our girl was a little chilly!

The Bajan beauty purchased a home in SoHo a little over a year ago, after having more than enough run-ins with stalkers and crazed fans at her crib on the west coast. The penthouse is worth $14 million and spreads out over 4600 square feet, though she’s just renting it for now at a cool $39k a month.

Rihanna still owns a crib in L.A. as well, but has been spending a majority of her time in the Big Apple lot as of late, reportedly putting the finishing touches on her eighth studio album. In a recent tweet, Rihanna referred to the project as R8, but there’s no telling whether that’s the actual name, or a working title, as like we said, it’s her eighth project. She recently teased fans with a preview of some new music on Instagram, but has remained rather mum on details surrounding the release date.
