On Monday night during a lengthy speech, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch announced that the grand jury decided not to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed teenager, Michael Brown.  McCulloch then explained some of the evidence the grand jury was presented with and what led to their decision.  The announcement sent anger, rage and disappointment through many people who felt Wilson was guilty in the unlawful death of Brown.  Social media has been one of the main catalyst used to distribute information and feelings on the case.  Last night athletes react to no indictment in the Michael Brown case.  Several athletes took to Twitter and Instagram to give their thoughts on the matter.  There was a mixture of anger, confusion and frustration, as well as prayers for Mike Brown and his family.

Some of the athletes who chose to express their thoughts were Lebron James, Adrian Broner, Dwayne Wade, Reggie Bush, JR Smith, Russell Westbrook, Brandon Jennings, Serena Williams, Matt Barnes, Justin Tuck, Wilson Chandler, Metta World Peace and many more.

Of course there were some people who agreed with their sentiments and expressed grief while others berated and attacked the athletes for their comments citing the “evidence” in the case and their belief of absence of racism.
