Congratulations to Iggy Azalea who now has two awards for the night for Best New Rap Artist. She won two awards at the AMAs. Iggy Azalea beat Eminem and Drake in the rap category. All these awards are fan based so Iggy must have a whole lot of fans. She is taking over the hip-hop world like TI said. She won her very first award for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album at the 2014 American Music Awards for her album ‘The New Classic.’ When she went on stage Iggy Azalea got a little emotional she thanks TI for believing in her and she also brought him onstage along with her to accept her first award.

Iggy’s acceptance speech went like this:
“This award is the first award I’ve ever won in my entire life and it means so much to me that it is for Best Hip-Hop, because that’s what inspired me to move to America and pursue my dreams and it’s what helped me when I was a teenager to escape and to get through my life and to better times.”

Iggy Azalea has six nominees tonight and is also up for the Artist of The Year award, so who knows maybe she’ll take that as well. Check the gallery for photos of Iggy and TI on stage.
