Michael Phelps’ alleged girlfriend Taylor Lianne Chandler made a shocking confession, admitting that she was born a boy named David Roy Fitch. Taylor isn’t a transgender however, she was actually born with both female and male genitalia (intersex). She was born with penis but not testicles and with a uterus but no ovaries. Chandler says she was diagnosed in her early teens and went on testosterone blockers, at 15 estrogen enhancers. She had her name changed and then, in her early twenties, underwent corrective surgery to get rid of her male genitalia. She made the shocking admission in a Facebook post and explained the whole ordeal as well as the fact that she never told Phelps!
Chandler wrote a long Facebook post explaining, ‘I was never a man, never lived as a man. No one can say they knew me as a man or produce a photo of me as a man.’ She then adds, ‘There are people that remember me as an androgynous child at times because of what was forced upon me.’
She is also revealing how in love she is with Phelps, and claims the two clicked after meeting on Tinder. The alleged couple also have a bit of an age gap between them, Phelps is 29 and Chandler is 41-years-old. Though she said she keeps their relationship guarded, she spoke with the National Enquirer (a well known tabloid) and detailed their first date where they had sex at a Baltimore Ravens game. Her Facebook also looks like a dedication to Phelps with numerous pictures and she posts any and all news stories and tweets about their relationship. In fact she looks more like a crazed fame-hungry fan than his girlfriend.
She did however give heartbreaking details about her life including being on her own at 16 and getting arrested for a DUI and extortion. She tried to blackmail someone to get the money for her surgery and was caught and locked up for a month. Although it says female on her birth certificate and license, she was placed in a cell with three men where she says she was raped.
Chandler says she never lied to Phelps, the past just never came up. Now she feels he may leave her after finding out. He’s just been released from rehab after being arrested on suspicion of DUI. It’s terrible in my opinion that she would reveal this info only now when he’s in a fragile state and chose to do it publicly before telling him privately.
