Police are still on the hunt for two jewel thieves after a robbery in Manhattans Diamond District. Further investigation surfaced that it was a rival Jeweler who sent the gunmen.
Tuesday at 2:30pm two armed gunmen walked into a jewlery store on 47th street. The men apparently pistol whipped the owner of the establishment and made off with expensive watches and cash. When Police arrived on the scene they believed the suspects to still be in the building which prompted them to shut down the entire block and search the premises floor by floor. The most interesting discovery is that the two men were sent by a rival jeweler! The rival states that he sent the men to scare the owner but got “greedy” and made off with Rowlexs and cash.
