Jillian Meredith McCabe is facing charges of aggravated murder, murder and first- degree manslaughter after she admitted to police she threw her son from a bridge in Newport Oregon.
The body of six year old Lonodn McCabe was found at 10:20pm yesterday night in the freezing Yaquina Bay. His mother Jillian Meredith McCabe admitted to police that she threw her son off the bridge. Chief of Police for Newport Mark Miranda stated even if London were to survive the fall he wouldn’t have lasted more than 20 minutes in the frigid water. There has been no release of a motive for this senseless act of violence or a cause of death. Jillian McCabe was being held in Lincoln County Jail on $750,000 bail. There is no excuse for actions like these, an innocent child’s life was taken from him way to early. Pretty sure the entire country wouldn’t mind seeing the courts lock McCabe up and throw away the key.
