I don’t think Dion Waiters has fully realized that the dynamics of his team has changed. He’s gone from being maybe the second option to about the fourth or fifth. With LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving on the team, there’s no way in hell Waiters will ever have the last shot but that didn’t stop him from trying.
As the seconds ran down to end the first half of the Cavs game against the Bulls, LeBron brought the ball up going one-on-one with Mike Dunleavy. Waiters was open on the side and calling for the ball but to no avail because LeBron never passed it to him. LeBron’s shot was then blocked by Dunleavy
