Jaylen Fryberg who was a student of Marysville Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Washington was said to be an idol student. Fryberg was recently name the school’s freshman homecoming prince and was a popular football athlete, but why did he kill two students and critically injure three others – two of which were cousins of Fryberg’s – before turning the gun on himself?
Investigations shows that the teen asked the students to meet him at lunch prior to him entering the school and opening fire on his peers.

“The only pre-planning of the event that detectives are able to confirm is that the shooter had arranged for a meeting of friends during lunch in the cafeteria,” Snohomish County Sheriff Ty Trenary told Radar. The text messages were the evidence of his planning, he said.
One of the questions that remained was, where did the teen obtain the .40 caliber Barretta pistol that he used to gun down his friends. Through further investigation, it shows that the weapon “was purchased legally, registered, and owned by a family member of the shooter,” Trenary adds. The police are further investigating how he got his hands on it.
