Today the New York Giants face the Dallas Cowboys and they will be without their star wide receiver, Victor Cruz. Cruz tore the patellar tendon in his right knee and will require 4-8 months to recover. The Giants have decided to honor Cruz by doing the salsa dance whenever they score. The New York Daily News made light of the situation but also kind of threw shots with their back page cover.
They show Victor Cruz on crutches teaching the Giants other wide receivers how to salsa. The paper however refers to them as “kids”, insulting wide receivers Preston Parker, Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle.
