The IRS was preparing to foreclose on the home which he bought back in 2012. DMX paid a total of $258,927.87 in defaulted loan payments to Compass Bank to save the home. After DMX took out half of a million dollar mortgage with the bank, which spent 1403 days in default, Compass Bank filed the suit against him in 2012.
