Well-known boxer Emanuel Augustus (38-34-6, 20 KOs) reportedly was shot in the back of the head on Monday night by an unknown assailant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Augustus, 39, is currently on life support. Augustus is currently at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. It’s unclear why Augustus was shot.
“I just know he got shot in the back of the head,” Chris Singleton, a boxer from the area said. “And he’s on life support right now.”
The Baton Rouge police are looking for any kind of tips from citizens who might know the whereabouts of the person who committed the crime.
