The birth certificate reads that Eva Mendes gave birth to Esmerelda Amada Gosling on September 12 at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif. at 10:22 a.m.
Does the name sound familiar? The name Esmerelda from Disney movie “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” Though it seems that the newborns name was inspired by past rolls of Eva’s.
She played a woman named Esmerelda in the TV series, “V.I.P.” and Amada was the name of the woman she played in the 2007 film, “We Own the Night.”
The two started dating back in 2011 when they were shooting the movie, “The Place Beyond the Pines.”
