The rapper is a huge sports fan! We’ve seen him at various games, especially for the Miami Heat. In a recent interview, Ross spoke about wanting to purchase another Miami based team, the Dolphins. Hit the jump for details.

“I went and sat down with the Miami Dolphins, we discussed a few things. You know, I’ve been interested in trying to buy a small percentage of the Dolphins for some time. They finally invited me into the office. I sat with some people. It was a real positive conversation.”
He did make one mistake during the meeting, though.
“When we left, they offered me to walk out through the field,” he said. “It was sprayed for the game the following day. So I walked out on the field, I didn’t know they just sprayed, I was a little excited, and I just dragged my foot through it.”
Ross also described his meeting with the Dolphins as a “positive situation” and said the team “ultimately decide if the time is now” in regards to his possible ownership.
Ross was raised in Florida and is known to be a big supporter of Miami and its sports teams, so this parternship actually makes sense. The Dolphins clearly enjoy having celebrity owners and Ross clearly wants an ownership role with his favorite NFL team.
