Forbes compiled a list of the most valuable sports team brands in the world and here’s the top ten.

Team brand values are derived from calculating the portion of team’s enterprise value that is not attrributable to the size or demographics of its market, or league-shared revenue.
1. New York Yankees
Brand Value 2014: $521 million
Brand Value 2013: $443 million
The Yankees have led the American League in attendance for 12 consecutive years.
2. Real Madrid
Brand Value 2014: $484 million
Brand Value 2013: $450 million
The Spanish soccer team’s kit deal with Adidas is worth an average of $41 million a year, the richest deal in sports.
3. Barcelona
Brand Value 2014: $438 million
Brand Value 2013: $361 million
In July, the Spanish soccer team added Beko as a shirt sponsor in a four-year deal that averages close to $14 million a season.
4. Dallas Cowboys
Brand Value 2014: $404 million
Brand Value 2013: $273 million
In 2014, the Cowboys extended their branding into the luxury goods market with a sponsorship deal with watchmaker Hublot.
5. Manchester United
Brand Value 2014: $399 million
Brand Value 2013: $433 million
Manchester United’s long-term kit deal with Adidas that begins with the 2015-16 season will pay the soccer team an average of $130 million a year.
6. New England Patriots

The team has kept fans wired in by improving the stadium experience with Wi-Fi, a game day app called “Patriots Game Day Live” for season ticket holders, as well as more stats, fantasy football results and instant replays on their hand-held devices.
7. Bayern Munich

Brand Value 2013: $203 million
Bayern Munich won five titles last year, including the trophies for the Champions League and the European Super Cup, and the Bundesliga signed a global television deal with 21st Century Fox.
8. Los Angeles Dodgers

Brand Value 2013: $225 million
The Dodgers $8.35 billion, 25-year deal with Time Warner Cable that began in 2014 is the second-richest local television deal in baseball history.
9. Boston Red Sox
Brand Value 2014: $260 million
Brand Value 2013: $237 million
In 2013, the Red Sox captured their eighth World Series overall, and third in the John Henry era (2004, 2007).
10. Los Angeles Lakers
Brand Value 2014: $254 million
Brand Value 2013: $145 million
The Lakers kicked off their blockbuster $3.6 billion, 20-year TV deal with Time Warner Cable during the 2012-13 season.
