Chief Keef

Before Chi-town native Chief Keef releases the second installment of his Back From The Dead series on Halloween, he put out four tracks a bit early. However, Keef’s new “Faneto” track seems to have caused the ULTIMATE commotion in not only New Jersey, but Newark more specifically. Being that I live in the Bricks, I have a better insight into what really went down with this new Sosa vs. Newark beef that sparked up. Click below to get the deets.

Soooo for those who don’t know, Chief Keef visits Newark a decent amount of time because he has a baby mother who lives here. The rapper was doing a performance in Elizabeth when he apparently made some comments during his performance that the crowd wasn’t rocking with. He was then chased off stage by angered Jersey folk who tried to rob him for his chain. Shortly after, “Faneto” was released and the Jersey slander was at an all-time high.

Keef says:

“I’m ridin’ through New York
Finna go and shoot New Jersey up
Tryna take my chain, ain’t goin’
We gone come and blow New Jersey up”

Word hit the Newark streets A$AP Rocky that Keef put out a diss track trying to come at Jersey. A Newark-born rapper who goes by the name Bleszt hit the booth and put on for the city immediately in a response track to Sosa called “Banned From Jersey.”

Since the song was released, my whole TL has been filled with some real life Newark OGs responding back to the diss (and if you watch the news, you should know Newark, NJ is no walk in the park.) Let’s just say, I hope Keef brings some extra security with him when he comes back around the way because I don’t see this ending good. To top it off, a group of Newark Grape Street Crips have a little message for the Chiraq representer. See what they have to say below:

WELP…. There you have it, folks.

Moral of the story: Don’t EVER, ever, ever, ever diss anyone from Newark (especially a bunch of dangerous a*s looking dudes straight from the streets.) IT WILL NOT END WELL. ‘Tis all.
