This is truly upsetting. Hammond police pulled over a car because the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, but once the driver refused to get out of the car because she feared for her safety, things took a turn for the worst.

The Lisa Mahone was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt. A Hammond officer asked to see the passengers, Jamal Jones, identification, but when Jones went to get his information out of his bag, the police drew their guns, aiming it at the car…. with two children in the back seat!

Mahone asked the officers for her seatbelt ticket because she was on her way to the hospital to visit her sick mother, according to the video.

Police then told Jones that if he didn’t leave the car, they will open the door themselves. Jones can be seen nodding. The officers then broke the window and used a taser on Jones, which is shown in the video.

Jones was arrested for resisting law enforcement and refusing to aid an officer.
