So reports are bouncing all around the web, The next version of iPad is set to drop early 2015(most likely the same time as the Apple Watch), and the so called leaked info is suggesting some pretty interesting information 0_0
We’ve seen some of this earlier this year, but First they’re talking a 12.5″ to 12.9″ screen(which is pretty big, and would make the current iPad look like a Mini), when the iPad has traditionally been 10″, but the kicker is they’re talking about integrating iOS, and Mac OS seamlessly, which means, you will get the exact same experience on your macbook(Pro) and iPad, or the exact same experience on you iPad you do on your iPhone!
This would be extraordinary indeed, it would mean the iPad would truly be the center piece of any Apple product line up, which means if you are a macbook/iPhone person, you would really want an iPad to be the device that can communicate to both!
Not to mention with Yosemite dropping soon, which already will allow you start a call on you macbook and push it to your iPhone, but with the iPad would be able to not just ‘pick up’ features, it will have full on features between both devices!
This is directly related to Microsoft’s surface tablet that let’s them boast that they have a tablet that can move like a PC, but we kinda know, when Apple does something, even it copying, they do it better! This would also clear the way for touch screen MacBooks, and THAT would truly be what the people want!

And it was on that last point that Cook had a lot to say. When asked if Apple was planning to merge its tablet and laptop products, much as Microsoft is proceeding with Windows 8, Cook responded with a quip: “You can converge a toaster and a refrigerator, but those aren’t going to be pleasing to the user.”
Cook elaborated that converging the iPad with a laptop would result in tradeoffs, ones Apple isn’t willing to make. “We are not going to that party, but others might from a defensive point of view.”
I believe there is another Apple Event scheduled for next week(Oct 16th), so it won’t be long before we get a yeah or nah on this!
