In a bit of lighter news, looks like things maybe looking up for former reporter of Alaska’s KTVA News, Charlo Greene who quit her job on last month when she infamously said “f – – k it, I quit” on air in effort to gain more traction with legalizing Marijuana in Alaska. Well looks like her efforts aren’t going unnoticed. See how Charlo’s bold “efforts” are helping to pay off inside.
Looks like Charlo is getting the High Times’ is highest honor(no pun intended). The self professed pothead who quit her day job to fight the battle to get marijuana legalized in her home state where she owns The Alaska Cannabis Club, is now being awarded with the “Courage in Media Award” at High Times’ 40th anniversary party Oct. 16 in NYC.
Well, her ultimate goal was to garner more attention for the cause. Looks like she’s doing fairly well for herself. What do you think?
