In today’s times, almost every threat is something to take serious, especially in Boston, but when the threat is an email that goes to hundreds of students on a thurs about the upcoming sat, mentioning coming to killing students individually and throwing in racial tones, it’s time to be on the look out!
Officials are up in arms by this and have stepped campus patrols as well as put the FBI on alert, although they can not verify if this is a credible threat or not;
Addressed to “All students at Harvard,” the text of both emails included what appeared to be racist language. The emails referred to their intended recipients as “slit-eyes.” Many, but not all, of the emails’ intended recipients appear to have Asian surnames.
The e-mails were not anonymous. In the emails, the author or authors self-identified as Stephanie Nguyen and claimed to live in Boston. The address from which the first email was received, however, identified the sender as Eduardo Nguyen. The second identified the sender as Huy Dinh.
