I know ya’ll have to remember Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule’s smash hit, “I’m Real” back in 2001! Well, there’s one word she used that had a lot of people talking and caused some backlash during that time. During a recent interview, Ja said that he didn’t view her saying the N word as a bad thing because he has a lot of Spanish friends that use it with him all the time. He also stated that she probably got all that shade thrown her way because her fans didn’t see her as a Spanish girl growing up in the Bronx streets but, as a global icon.
