Is there a Roc-A-Fella Reunion in the works? Eh, not really. But Freeway seems optimistic about it. The Philly rapper pays a visit to Sway In The Morning to promote his new collaborative album, Highway Robbery, alongside the Jacka, and performs and talks about a possible reunion.
It seems like a long considering there are many moving parts to get this Roc-A-Fella reunion happening, but Free wanting to make it happen is a great start.
“It’s definitely a possibility,” former Roc member Freeway said Sway. “Me, myself, I’m trying to make it happen to the best of my abilities.”
The most notable piece needed is Jay-Z, who’s the biggest star and the co-founder of the label. And although Free isn’t signed to Jay, he reveals that the two are still in touch. “Jay the big homie,” he said. “Of course [we talk].”
The other pieces to complete the Roc-A-Fella puzzle would ideally be included Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, State Property, Memphis Bleek, Cam’ron and the Diplomats.
This reunion seems highly unlikely, but that Freeway says otherwise. “It’s talked about right now,” Free said. “Insha’Allah it’ll work out.”
