Robert Griffin III left yesterday’s game with a dislocated left ankle and had to be carried off of the field. While in the locker room, he was visited by NBA superstar Kevin Durant, who is a Washington native and die hard Redskins fan. Hit the jump for details.

A stadium full of Redskins fans expressed sadness and encouragement for the injured Robert Griffin III, but none of them can claim the NBA’s scoring title as an achievement. Noted Redskins supporter Kevin Durant watched his favorite team steamroll the Jaguars, and after the game he found RG3 to wish him well after dislocating his ankle. RG3 later said that it was Durant who “consoled him” after the injury.
