Ray Rice was recently dropped from Nike (and Madden 15), so many are wondering if Nike will do the same with Adrian Peterson since he was indicted by a Montgomery County, Texas, grand jury on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child. Previously, Nike had said nothing about the indictment of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. Now, Nike has said something.
But it’s still pretty much nothing.
“We are aware of the concerning allegations surrounding Adrian Peterson,” Nike said, via Darren Rovell of ESPN. “We will continue to closely monitor the situation.”
