Terminator: Genisys is still 10 months away from hitting the silver screen (July 1, 2015) but that hasn’t stopped Paramount from announcing two new installs in the Terminator franchise to come out in 2017 and 2018 and Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back! See more below.
The Terminator 2 is slated to hit screens on May 19, 2017 and Terminator 3 will follow the year after on June 29, 2018. No word has been given if 66 year-old Schwarzenegger will be continuing in his original role as the T-800 killing machine in the sequels to come.
Considering age the Austrian Oak had this response:
“The way that the character is written, it’s a machine underneath. It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh,” he told MTV earlier this year. “And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages.”
Makes sense.
