During early summer, an oh so funny meme of Tichina Arnold floated around the Internet. The flick was of the longtime actress with the sides of her head shaved off captioned, “I wish Martin could see her now. He would tear her a** up.” While many RT’d and RP’d the meme, French Montana was pointed out for the haha joke. Tichina Arnold called the rapper out – in a polite manner. Now, she’s clearing up what was really on her mind with the minor beef.

“What happened with the French Montana thing is, I did not know who French Montana was. The reason why I responded to French Montana was because of my nephew, who said, “Aunty, why did he post a picture of you like that?” and I’m like, “No dude, that was my picture.” And I can take a joke, but I perused his Instagram page and I was the only one that he was making fun of, so why? And my main question was, “Why me?” and not everybody else? But its all good. French Montana is who he is, and now I know a little more about him. But there is a major disconnect between my generation and his generation and if that had to happen for us to create a bridge, and bridge that gap, I’m all for it.”
