Finally! We get to find out why exactly KimYe named their daughter ‘North West’.
This is all Pharrell’s doing… He not only is an awesome producer and trademark of style; he’s also pretty handy at naming babies too!
In an interview with GQ, Kim Kardashian West revealed that one day when Kanye went to lunch with Pharrell, he had inquired if the couple was going to name their newborn ‘North’. Pharrell thought it was “the best name.” Pharrell wasn’t the only person to be taken by the name; Anna Wintour also told them that same day that the name was “genius.” Then North West was born!
It’s good to know that other people thought the name was pretty awesome before they formally announced her to the world.
