Gotta be careful of those tattoos — think before you ink (even though I love tats)! Clippers baller Matt Barnes admits that he’s not proud of all of his — in fact, there’s one piece of ink that he hated so much, he HAD to go out and get it covered up.

Barnes was out at Kitson in L.A. Wednesday to support teammate DeAndre Jordan when he told us about the regrettable work he got on his arm back when he was a teenager … and why he had to make it go away.
But one bad tat didn’t keep Barnes from inking up the rest of his body — and he shows off the special tribute tattoo on his stomach that means more to him than all the rest.
