The time is now – the nominations for BET’s 2014 Hip Hop Awards have been released. Topping the list with the most nominations is (beating of the drums)……Drake (but you already knew that! The OVO crew member has a total of eight nominations in categories such as ‘Album of the Year’, ‘MVP of the Year’ and the ‘People’s Champ Award.’
Following right behind Drizzy are Jay Z, Future, and Pharrell with six nominations and Nicki Minaj, Rich Homie Quan, and YG pick up five. Go guys!

Hosting this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards is the west coast rapper, Snopp Dogg. Yeah, he takes the mic for the second year in a row. The show is scheduled for tapping September 20th at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta, and will premiere on October 14 at 8pm.
