Michael B. Jordan just wrapped up filming the 2015 reboot of “Fantastic Four,” giving a little insight into his character “Johnny Storm” and what else he has in stored for movies and his passion for when he gets older.
The Fantastic Four actor raves his new movie and his character.
“It took a while to get it all together, but we are incredibly excited to see it happening,” Jordan, 27, told Us Weekly of the Marvel superhero flick. “Johnny Storm is such an original character. It was amazing to be able to bring my own take to him. I think people are going to like what we did with it. It’s a great cast.”
Now, we can expect to see Jordan in the Rocky spinoff Apollo Creed , where he’ll star as the fictional boxer’s grandson. He tells US, “I’ve been working out with a new trainer and getting pumped.”
The 27-year-old just doesn’t want to just act for the rest of is career. Jordan has his sights on working behind the camera. “As I get older in this business, I do want to start looking at producing, doing some writing, and eventually directing,” he told Us.
Jordan got the opportunity to direct for Axe Gold Temptation, which he endorses. “I co-directed the [Gold Temptation] videos [for Axe],” he explained. “It was fun to put on that hat…It was just a way for me to test the water in doing something behind the scenes. I was grateful for the opportunity to get to flex that muscle.”
The actor raved about the product, telling US about all the complements he gets while wearing the body spray and wanting to smell good for his female co-stars.
“You know when you’re filming with an actress, you want to make sure to smell good for them,” he tells Us. “You don’t want to be unpleasant to hug or kiss. I always try to smell my best.”
