Listen, yes I’m an Apple fan boy from time to time, but I don’t think I can back this play if true! A Discussion has apparently happened inside Apple amongst themselves and the price point $400 has come up, which IF true would be a big mistake!

This report also says this is a range thing, where the $400 might be for a high end wearable device, but either way that is not a price point people want to look at in the Apple store for a high tech watch. Unless of course this watch becomes the holy grail of wearables, which with it being an Apple product, is def possible.

Apple executives have discussed charging around $400 for the company’s new wearable device.

Pricing has yet to be finalized for the forthcoming product, which is expected to begin shipping next year. Sources say consumers should expect a range of prices for different models including lower priced versions.

Sept 9th is the day Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 6, and hopefully some mention of their wearable!
