Ray Allen still hasn’t decided whether he wants to retire or keep playing. Should he come back however, it has been reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the lead to sign him. Well it turns out these two championship contending teams are after him as well.

The Clippers have 11 players under contract, two under the league minimum. They will be bringing in veterans for workouts.
Doc Rivers had been in contact with Ray Allen earlier this summer. Expect the Clippers to make a run at him again.
In addition to the Clippers, the Spurs are interested as well.

Ray Allen still could very well be leaning towards retirement. He’s unsure if he wants to put his body through the rigor of another grueling season, as well as being away from his family. If he does return it would be to get another ring, not for the money. So his decision could depend on which team has the best chance of winning between the Cavaliers, Clippers and Spurs.
