The comedian Joan Rivers is now resting comfortably according to her daughter and in a medically induced coma after going into cardiac respiratory arrest. Doctors will take her out of the coma this weekend to assess any damage. Read more on the story below!
Joan Rivers was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital just hours after talking about her own death at a standup show. Shade Rupe, 45, an attendee at the standup show said this about Joan Rivers, “She did a joke onstage, she goes, ‘I’m 81, I could go at any moment…I could fall over right here and you all could say, I was there!”
Her daughter Melissa Rivers, 46, stated, “I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother…she is resting comfortably and is with our family…we ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.”
