On Aug. 6, model Ataui-Deng Hopkins was last seen leaving XVI Lounge at 48th Street and Eighth Avenue, police said. After 12 days of not knowing where she was, Ataui was found in a New York hospital.

The Sudanese American model had friends Jourdan Dunn, Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls and even Rihanna tweeting about her safety – hoping to raise awareness.
“If any one has any information on this young lady’s whereabouts, please call the NYPD or email [email protected],” RiRi tweeted with a photo of the Dior runway model.
Details of what landed Ataui in the hospital have yet to be released.
