Over the weekend many celebrities celebrated a star studded, “A Night Of Legends” evening in honor of the historic Apollo Theatre in Harlem. The Harlem Benefit was held in the Hamptons, where a number of stars performed, including superstar Jamie Foxx. Celebrities such as Barbra Streisand and James Brolin, Sir Paul McCartney, Jack Nicholson, Anjelica Huston, Pharell Williams, Robert DeNiro, and more were in attendance. The festivities in East Hamptons raised over $4 million for programs at the historic venue.According to sources, many celebs got on stage and shook a tail-feather such as Sen John McCaine who did the robot alongside Jamie Foxx, Paul McCartney, Spike Lee, Bon Jovi, and more.

“Foxx told us after the show, which raised $4 million for programs at the Harlem venue, that he felt he had to step up on last year’s performance which saw Colin Powell dance on stage. Of his dancing partners, “Its always the ones you don’t expect. Republicans love to dance – in the Hamptons.”
Other guests at the benefit, at which some tables went for over $100,000, included Don Johnson, Roger Waters, Penny Marshall, BET’s Debra Lee, Howard Stern, Donna Karan, Hollywood moguls Ron Meyer, Brad Grey and Harvey Weinstein.
Business titans included AmEx CEO Ken Chenault, Apollo board chair Dick Parsons, Viacom’s Philippe Dauman, hedge fund moguls Paul Tudor Jones and David Tepper, billionaire Len Blavatnik, LionTree’s Aryeh Bourkoff, and anchors Charlie Rose, Bill O’Reilly, Matt Lauer, Rosanna Scotto and George Stephanopoulos.”
