Alex Rodriguez is currently on a year-long suspension for the use of PEDs but he still has millions of dollars to cushion the blow.  So what was the best purchase he’s made with that money?

Rodriguez’s last two contracts alone will put him in the neighborhood of half a billion dollars.  TMZ Sports caught up with him in Venice and wanted to know what’s the dumbest thing he ever bought.

He struggled to come up with an answer, so they asked him what’s the coolest thing he ever bought.  He had some trouble again but his answer ended up being surprising and sweet.

Oh, and A-Rod was walking out of Gold’s Gym with his gf Torrie Wilson so, at least he’s staying in shape. Naturally.
