It wouldn’t be reality television without drama on the first episode. Tuesday evening, Aug. 12 was the air date for Sisterhood of Hip Hop, and while most of us were looking for some fire a** lyrics from the female persuasion, the drama was live – specifically, Nyemiah Supreme and Diamond. All-n-all, Nyemiah asked, WHO IS DIAMOND?!
The two briefly talked to HHDX and squared things over. Check down bottom to see what the two had to say about each other.
The Jamaica Queens, NY artist, Nyemiah mentioned that she didn’t say she has not heard of Diamond, but wanted to know her contribution to the hip hop realm.
“During that conversation I was asking her what did she do in Hip Hop, what did she change? She was having a conversation on how she was honored for something, and I was asking her, ‘What did they honor you for? What did you change?’ And that escalated into its own thing. But it was more so just a questioning what was done. I’ve heard of her. I’ve seen her through social media and blog interviews and things like that.”
Diamond had to say…
“I think that she probably knew who I was but probably was just throwing a little shade.”
Not too pressed by the issue, Diamond says that they can move on from any shots fired. Let’s hear the music please, ladies!
