The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Grammy Hall of Famer Patti LaBelle has booked a 4-episode guest role on Ryan Murphy’s FX hit series American Horror Story: Freak Show.
LaBelle, who is reportedly not singing on the series, “will play a local townie who begins to unravel the deadly secrets of Twisty the clown killer, the mother of Sidibe’s character,” as first reported by TV Line.
The fourth season of AHS: Freak Show debuts in October, yet a specific date for LeBelle’s guest appearance has not yet been announced.
