Rihanna’s been very consistent with new music since her introduction to the game in 2005, putting out an album every single year since then with the exception of 2008. However, she’s been pretty quiet since the release of 2012’s Unapologetic, but finally, it looks like a new project is on the way!

“I’m actually about to write a song for Rihanna,” singer/songwriter TeeFLii just revealed in a new interview with VIBE. “That’s a blessing.” He explained that the opportunity presented itself via DJ Mustard, whom Rih tapped for the album as well. Looks like we’re definitely going to get that “ratchet music” bounce that’s the wave right now on this project!

No release date, title or single in sight just yet, but we do know that Rihanna has thus far worked with Yung Berg on a record called “All Night,” and also has been in the studio with writers Emeli Sandé and Stargate, as well as fellow artists Kanye West and Big Sean. Can’t wait to hear some new music!
