New York Daily News Reports:
Around 30 people were filming a low-budget video on Webster Ave. near E. 170 St. around 1:15 a.m. when two of the men began quarreling, said Ali Abdul, 41, who owns a deli on the block.
The fight then spilled into Abdul’s business.
“They were fighting over who’s the star, who’s better,” said Abdul. “They were drunk. They spit at each other then one guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy five times.”
After shooting the victim in the chest and then grazing him in the head, the assailant even went as far as to pistol whip the already brutally wounded man.
What makes this even sicker is that according to Abdul, who had seen the two men around the neighborhood in the past, the men were actually really good friends.
Maybe more like a Bishop and Q type of friendship?
According to police the shooter, who fled the scene, is a black man, about 30 years of age, standing around 5-foot-10 and weighing between 180 and 210, was last seen wearing a red polo shirt, grey sweatpants and black-and-white sneakers.
The victim was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center where he is now in critical condition but is expected to survive.
