Darren Rovell is ESPN’s money man. No matter what the situation is Rovell will tell you just how it will affect the parties involved monetarily. On Friday night Pacers star Paul George suffered a heartbreaking leg injury. It turns out the injury may leave George on the sideline for the entire 2014-15 NBA season. While each player, team, reporter and fan was praying for George, Rovell decided to tweet out how much the injury would cost the Pacers in terms of George’s contract.
Now I understand it’s Rovell’s job to cover the business of the game but it was entirely too soon.
