Wow. Despite friends and family arriving early this morning at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in New York, raptress Remy Ma was NOT released from her 7-year prison bid as originally scheduled. According to REVOLT, her release has been delayed due to a “disciplinary problem” that happened on July 21st.

The write-up for the issue has to be reviewed by higher-ups in the prison, and his not come across their desk yet, so there is no further info or slight timeline as to when they will. How unfair and ridiculous is that? It’s probably the SMALLEST thing ever. Ugh! FREE REMY!

UPDATE 8/1:
According to a statement from Department of Corrections and Community Supervision public information officer Linda Foglia obtained by The Source, “Her July 31st release date was delayed due to a pending misbehavior report that is required to be resolved before she can be released.”
In addition to that, Foglia was questioned as to why this seemingly simple information wasn’t relayed to the media outlets that arrived to the facility on Remy’s expected release date. She replied, “I don’t know, the inmate was informed that the unresolved ticket would have to be resolved, how she communicated that to family and friend I’m unsure of.”
Information regarding the situation may be available as early as next week and that the report could be dealt with in that period, whether that is good or bad news as far as when the release will take place is still unclear.
