On Sunday(7/27/14) at around 8:16p in the evening the whole thing was caught on CCTV, in front of a local bodega in East New York on the corner of Stanley Ave. at Van Siclen Ave, one guy(the ‘suspect’) walks up on the other guy then suddenly pulls what looks like to be a small caliber gun(maybe a 380) runs toward him and fires in his face.
They don’t know who the shooter is yet, but the authorities were quick to say the victim has a criminal history with multiple arrests, and say they have released this tape in order to catch a lead. The footage is disturbing if you’ve never seen anything like this before:
The victim, Shaun Green, 41 was shot once in the face, then it looks like the gun jams because no more flashes happened in the video, and the shooter was messing with the gun, then seemingly went in a different direction. Green reportedly made it up the block, fell out, EMS picked him up and he was rushed to the hospital where he is in critical condition and in a medically induced coma.
