Here comes the criticism: Okay so, Whitney Houston’s family is at a war with Lifetime over this new biopic. They feel the movie doesn’t properly honor her. Therefore,they blocked the networks ability to use authentic Whitney tracks, which means someone else has to sing the songs. They hired Deborah Cox, to cover the songs and below is a clip of her covering “I Will Always Love You”. Deborah sounds good—no doubt about it, but of course people are going to complain that it’s different.. You be the judge….
